On Top of the World Softball Champions
of 12th Annual Summer Glen 70+ Tournament

Thirteen members of the OTOW Softball community teams joined together to participate in the 12th annual SummerGlen over 70 softball tournament held March 30th - April 2 at the SummerGlen community softball diamond. This is the fifth year OTOW softball clubs have participated in this tournament, including six other 55+ communities from Ocala south to the Villages. This year's OTOW team lost a close first game but rallied to win out the rest of their tournament games to reach the championship game. A determined and scrappy OTOW team went on to defeat a very tough Stone Creek team twice on the same day to bring home the championship trophy. Well done.
Congratulations to the players participating in a great tournament representing the OTOW community.
Thanks to the following players who participated: Front Row - Left to Right: Mike Hamlin, Ron Carlson, (MVP) Gerry Meier, Jeff Thomas, Wayne Kiser Back Row - Left to Right: John Yenne, Bill McElroy, Sam Mestre, Ralph Mazzio, Luis Puentes,
Mark Uberstein, Peyton Jackson, and Rick Munsell.
